The management of Melanoma has under gone a rapid and massive shift in the past decade. Improvements in diagnosis, classification, and treatment have contributed to improving outcomes in patients. However, the rapid improvement also places great strain on clinicians who must remain updated with the latest data supporting new diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The challenges associated with the contemporary managment of melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies suggest a need for further education into recent findings and changes in best practice.
